		Marlene Gebhardt - CNE* Marlene moved to Durango from Dallas, Texas in 1997 to experience life in the mountains. While enjoying the great outdoors, she has also served on the board of the Women's Resource Center and as co-coordinator for "Colorado's Premier Winter Celebration" aka SNOWDOWN. The Women’s Resource Center helps women help themselves in the areas of personal, professional and family life. She was Board Chair for two years, and concentrated on marketing and public relations. Snowdown is Durango’s annual winter celebration that “promotes fun, commerce and tourism.” “I enjoy being able to give back to my community. One way is with an organization that positively impacts people’s lives and on the other hand, working to provide loads of fun for the whole town.” Marlene has over 25 years’ business development experience working with companies such as GE and Honeywell. She has worked in marketing, sales, and operations and as a business consultant with large companies on the West Coast. She joined Horizon in 2004 to assist Geof with expansion plans. She enjoys working with people and showing off Durango's many life-style assets. Marlene has 3 dogs that keep her well exercised.
